Veterinary Practice

Dr. Herrero is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Herrero has had a love of horses and all things equine since a young age when he was gifted his first horse at the age of 5 by his grandparents.   Hailing from a family of veterinarians and growing up on a cattle ranch in Argentina, Dr. Herrero decided early on to focus his life and studies solely on his passion for horses.  He is skilled in all areas of equine veterinary medicine spending much of his free time enhancing his knowledge, thus ensuring the most innovative and cutting-edge treatments are available to his patients.  Sports Medicine and caring for the equine athlete are of particular interest to Dr. Herrero.  Compassion for his patients and their owners has been at the heart of his career as a veterinarian in the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years.

When not practicing veterinary medicine, he enjoys playing polo and spending time with his family in Odessa, Fl. 

Morgan is the Practice Manager for Odessa Equine, LLC.  She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Administration. She has been a lifelong equestrian who enjoys showing in Equitation, Hunters and Jumpers.  While at UCF, she was a member of the UCF Equestrian Team.  Prior to joining Dr. Herrero’s team, Morgan enjoyed a robust career in the health care industry with a focus on client services.  Her education, love of horses, and experience in health care field make her an exciting addition to Dr. Herrero’s team.
